I’ve been gardening for all my life, but as I grew older and my children left the house my husband and I found ourselves to be the proverbial empty nesters. It’s a bittersweet time, but a happy one to see our kids launched and happy.
I used the time and the opportunity to start gardening more than I ever have in my life before, but then my husband and I moved to a smaller home, and the lot size was small.
Instead of trading down in my Garden, I started planning a lush, petite landscape that would be a place within itself.
The Eden that my back yard has become is the most perfect place I know now. Eden is where you are I suppose, and now I have created the perfect little Eden for my darling husband and I. In a 20 foot by 20 foot space. But it’s still Eden.
